Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older, and must be permanent residents of the province of Ontario.
Upon purchase of ticket(s), purchasers shall retain their portion and the stub portion shall be held in safekeeping by a Kiwanis representative.
Kiwanis takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets.
Prize Draw
Tickets will be available for sale until Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 2:45 p.m.
The draw will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the It’s Still Me Walk Run Roll in Kiwanis Park, 311 Kiwanis Park Drive, London. Winners do not have to be present at the draw.
The winner will be determined by reference to the ticket number, the name on the ticket, email and/or telephone number on the stub drawn. The selected winner will be announced at the draw site. If they are not present, they will be called or contacted by email. The winner will be announced on the Kiwanis Club of Forest City-London website, social media channels. A news release will also be sent out with announcement of the winner.
The Prize
The prize shall be accepted as awarded on the draw date. No cash option will be offered. Prize is limited solely to those items explicitly set forth herein and any and all other expenses not provided for shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Substitution to or modification to the prize shall not be permitted. The decision of the Kiwanis Club of Forest City-London shall be final on all matters concerning the raffle, subject to the approval of the City of London as the licensor. The prize must be claimed within thirty (30) days of the draw date, namely October 27, 2025.
To comply with AGCO regulations, the outbound flight must depart from an airport within Ontario and the returning flight must terminate at an airport within Ontario.
Should the winner choose to upgrade to a higher class of travel service, or add any additional expenses (beyond the allowable $10,000.00 maximum), it shall be their sole responsibility.
Travel arrangements must be made directly through Ellison Travel & Tours Ltd. (1-800-265-7022).
Once airline and/or hotel reservations have been made, the winner is responsible for further charges associated with any changes or for any cancellation penalties, according to the terms of the travel arrangements and/or airline/hotel/insurance purchased.
The winner and travel companion(s) must comply with any customs, immigration and health requirements and must possess all required travel documentation prior to departure, including but not limited to passports and visas if applicable.
Flights are governed by the applicable by-laws, regulations and international conventions, as well as the terms and conditions of the selected airline, other restrictions may apply.
TICKETS
Ticket price is $10.00 CDN. The maximum number of tickets available for sale is 5,000. Tickets will be sold in advance of the draw. There is no limit on the number of tickets able to be purchased by one individual.
To claim the prize, the winner will meet at the office of the Children’s Health Foundation, 345 Westminster Ave, London, ON N6C 4V3, at an agreed upon date and time. Prize claim will take place during business hours (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday).
To claim the prize, the winner will be required to present valid, government-issued photo ID, and sign a standard declaration and release form, confirming: (1) compliance with the Raffle rules; (2) acceptance of the Prize as awarded; and (3) release of Kiwanis and the Prize sponsors (the “Sponsors”) and each of their employees, directors, officers, members, suppliers, agents, sponsors, administrators licensees, affiliates, representatives, advertising media buying and promotional agencies (the “Releasees”) from any and all loss, harm, liability, damage and expense arising out of acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the Prize. Once this requirement has been fulfilled, the selected entrant shall then be declared the “winner”. Failure to sign and return said documents, or if Prize is non-deliverable, may result in Prize forfeiture.
